Depends. If you are loging to it from youwebsite.com/cpanel then it will direct you to a non secure port.
if you login to it from your control panel then it is secured.
secure login with SSL must be done via port 2083 or www.yoursite.com:2083. Non secure is done via 2082.
YOU MUST VERFIFY AND ADD THE SSL CERTIFICATE FOR YOUR SECURE CPANEL LOGIN FOR IT TO WORK BECAUSE IT IS SELF SIGNED AND YOUR BROWSER WILL GIVE YOU A SECURITY WARNING. DON'T FREAK OUT. SELF SIGNED MEANS THAT THE ENCRYPTION IS HANDLED BY US, WHY WOULD WE HACK YOUR PRIVACY IF WE STRIVE TO PROTECT IT FROM THE FIRST PLACE.
